Abstract
The Department of Geography and Geology slide collection contains a series of slides used in the course of teaching. Originally housed in a metal projection case, the slides were removed to maintain their original order and boxed into 6 boxes. Boxes 4-6 are unidentifed and include a variety of landscapes, primarily in Europe. It is unclear who was responsible for capturing the images, labeling the images, or using them in class. They are primarily undated, 35mm color slides.

The Richard "Dick" Oltmanns collection are slide presentations created and given by Richard Oltmanns while on the faculty of Eastern Michigan University on campus and in the community. Oltmanns who was a graduate of the Michigan State Normal College returned to campus in 1956 and joined the faculty in the College of Education and the Library where he was the coordinator of Media Services.
